Fees

2012 rates for all individual services: 

First appointment (60-75 minutes): $150

Follow-up appointments (60 minutes): $100

Follow-up appointments (30 minutes): $55**

Discounts are available for full-time students, unemployed, and other special circumstances.

PLEASE NOTE:

• This is a fee-for-service practice only, insurance not accepted. I choose to spend my time with people, not paperwork, which means not billing private insurance. My rates are lower than private speech pathology offices that must pay staff to process insurance claims and appeals.

• Recognizing the limits on many budgets and schedules these days, **short sessions are available for your convenience, after the first appointment. 30 minute sessions are appropriate for a few types of voice/speech work only. Most people gain more from a 60 minute session; there is more chance to allow questions and subtle obstacles to emerge and get clarified.
  

• For nearly all types of training, I will recommend homework that is individualized for your needs and modified each time we meet. Being diligent with homework is the best way to get full value from our sessions together.
